Question for the camera buffs Empty Question for the camera buffs

Post  Casprd Mon Aug 09, 2010 11:02 am

Took some downtown/city photos here in Tulsa for the first time and since I didn't use a tripod everything is a bit cockeyed (I could have sworn I was standing up straight). When trying to edit these in Picknic there is a rotation tool, but I'm having a tough time figuring out what I should use as a reference point. If I pick something horizontal in the foreground then the buildings look a little strange but If I pick something verticle in the background then the foreground looks slanted a bit.

Any tips?

some have already been edited so the contortions aren't as dramatic as the original.

DXO Optics Pro let you do a slight modification depending on your Presets and Hardware

In my case I "straighten out" all Curves made by my Nikkor Fisheye.....after a batch process all look like with an Ordinary lens
